Our Story

The Creation of Canvas Club

It all began with a children’s art club to provide a fun place to create art and explore creativity. Then, over the years, many adults asked if they could join, so that resulted in starting up Canvas Club’s guided painting sessions and events.

I’m Sian, I've had a passion for Art since I was a young child and love painting whenever I have the chance, especially African Animals as I am highly influenced by growing up in South Africa. I love having a blank canvas and seeing what happens with the paint! The process of creating always re-charges me and is always so calming.

I believe every person can create… regardless of when they last picked up a paintbrush or if they can draw a stick figure. Painting is giving yourself time to relax and simply following easy step by step instructions, picking up a paintbrush and having fun without a fear of making “mistakes”. It is such a wonderful feeling to see someone paint their own unique, wonderful artwork and I always love it when they share a picture of their painting!

The Painting Kits have been developed so that you can enjoy the relaxing process of creating works of art in the comfort of your own home. Or maybe get a group of friends together – it’s guaranteed to be a fun time filled with laughter and you get to create awesome artwork too! The kits make fabulous gifts too.

Painting is my Happy Place and hopefully, through these Painting Kits, it can be yours too!
